This 13oz "Sun" Denim starts out as a black warp and natural weft denim which is garment dyed black then dip-dyed in a multi-step process which creates the "sun flame" pattern seen at the bottom of the jacket. The jacket is then garment-paint sprayed by hand to create the final look of the pattern. The natural aspect of this treatment means that the "degrade" motif has an organic look to it on every jacket.
This jacket is treated in an Italian washhouse based in the Veneto region of Italy that produces in small treatment baths to reduce water waste and utilize a water purifying process which enables them to recycle a majority of the water used during the manufacturing process of the jacket. This denim is fully ZDHC certified, meaning no harmful chemicals (to humans or the environment) were used in the production of the jacket.
