Today we release a project we produced with HTC and the founder and head cult leader of Idle Worship, the Filipino Fabric Jesus, the Sashiko Sicko, the Indigo Incubus, the Patchwork Papi, the Mission District Material Menace, a man who’s never met a perfectly good garment he didn’t want to cut, dye, stitch, distress, repair, or otherwise mess with, Self Edge sales associate by day, textile experimentalist by night, and San Francisco’s reigning heavyweight champion of arts and crafts for grown men—Paolo Cui. ⠀

We have sashiko-inspired leather key fobs and some beautiful snakeskin inlayed studded belts, designed by Idle Worship and produced by Los Angeles’ Hollywood Trading Company. The belts are made of thick black cowhide with black hand-burnished edges and finished with dark brown snakeskin and oxidized nickel studs.
