…pea-coat was fabricated from a heavy 36-ounce melton wool and up until the late 1930’s featured black bakelite buttons. The large-sized collar of the coat was designed to block strong ocean winds and the corduroy-lined side pockets helped thwart the numbing effect on hands from the cold. Buzz Rickson has reproduced all of these details to the highest degree and offers this pea coat once a year as part of their fall/winter collection. These are available now in limited numbers at all stores.

…weave, the result is a more pronounced texture and uneven hand compared to their ultra heavy flannels (UHF). While the exterior may appear slightly more rugged, they still double brush the weft (underside) to create a very soft, comfortable flannel. Now at all stores as a snap buttoned western shirt.
