Rather than simply adapting the denim pattern, BONCOURA completely redrafted the design to showcase the unique character of leather while preserving the original elegance of the fit. The proportions have been carefully refined to maintain clean lines and allow comfortable layering over shirts or lightweight knits.
Unlined and cut from a single piece of leather, the jacket reveals the natural smoothness of the inner grain surface. The suede side features a short, delicate nap that gives it an exceptionally soft, refined hand.
A hallmark of this leather is its natural water repellency. Whereas suede is typically treated with waterproof sprays that compromise its texture, BONCOURA collaborated with skilled tanners to develop a leather that retains its supple feel while effectively resisting water.
