…is here. This denim is an Iron Heart developed 17oz selvedge denim made of 100% organic cotton which has been dyed using natural indigo. The natural indigo gives these a unique shade which can only be achieved by rope dying the warp yarns in a natural indigo bath. The process of natural indigo dying is costly and takes more time than synthetic indigo dying, that coupled with the fact that these are made of a medium staple organic cotton makes these a great buy for the price. The waist has been modernized by removing the suspender buttons and cinch back, while key pre-war details remain intact, including the crotch rivet and the orientation of the center-back felled seam. The jeans are cut from 13oz selvedge denim woven with slubby No.7 warp and No.7 weft yarns, spun using pre-modern techniques to create a highly irregular, textured fabric. Finished with predominantly orange contrast stitching throughout, the result closely mirrors the look, feel, and construction character of true pre-war workwear.
