Japanese eyewear showcasing a clean, minimalist design ethos. Globe Specs is the outfit of eyewear designer Tetsuya Okada, who has worked in the optical industry for over 40 years. The first Globe Specs store opened in Shibuya, Tokyo in 1998; since then, the brand has expanded around the globe, and Self Edge was the first Globe Specs retailer outside of Japan. Each frame is hand-made from premium acetate, titanium, or stainless steel.
