We've always loved Sugar Cane's Okinawa fabric and over the years we've really wanted a slim tapered version of it. Together with Sugar Cane we've done a limited run of slim tapered jeans using a special 16.5oz cotton and sugar cane blend fiber denim. Perfect if you want their Okinawa denim with a little added heft in the weight but still breathable for the summer due to the style of fiber and weave. All this while having a denim that is not only very unique but will also age with a beautiful patina with wear.
Disclaimer: These jeans are made of unsanforized denim, when washed the denim will shrink 1" in the waist, 2.5" in the length (inseam), and approximately .3" in the thigh/knee/leg opening/rise. Please keep this in mind when choosing your size. The denim will also stretch in the waist up to 1" after approximately 30 wears.
