The PL Clip was an exercise in reverse engineering of an archaic but beautiful design. The mechanism locks perfectly and very securely into place, requiring a confident squeeze and listening for the click. Opening requires a significant amount of force as well, making this a good mechanism for where you need a secure closure but don’t plan to open and close the mechanism very often. A great use for the PL Clip is wearing it suspended from a chain as a pendant hanger.
