These blank T-Shirts were found in an old warehouse, they date back to the 1950's and are N.O.S. (New Old Stock), army issue.
The body is "tube-type" (no side seams), with 2" ribbed arm webbing. The fit is close to the body, but the 100% cotton knit jersey will stretch and adapt when worn.
Each shirt has been silk-screened by hand, using traditional techniques and inks. The ink is water-based and will "fade" as the shirts are repeatedly worn and washed. The graphics are hand-drawn Mister Freedom originals, and represent advertising t-shirts used for promotion by the MFSC Naval Tailor shops.
These are available in extremely limited quantities and each shirt differs from the next in subtle ways. Truly for those that appreciate the vintage art of production.
